MivaTek, the comprehensive mobile interactive video alarm, awareness and assurance services company that recently launched the Home8 consumer line of smart home services, announced that its 6-in-1 Combo Box product has received a 2015 IoT Evolution Connected Home and Building Award from IoT Evolution Magazine, the leading publication covering IoT technologies. The award honors organizations delivering software or hardware solutions that enable the advancement of the smart home and building industry.
The Combo Box offers video, security, safety, panic alerts, energy management and automation solutions for home and business, including an intelligent hub that adds security, local storage and manages all connected devices on the system, and four wireless cameras with motion detection and night vision features. The cameras can stream real-time video to mobile devices and work seamlessly with other Home8 devices, initiating 30-second recordings from each camera when a sensor is triggered.
