TDK's InvenSense to Organize 2017 TDK Sensors Developers Conference

TDK Corporation announced today that TDK’s wholly-owned subsidiary InvenSense, Inc., a leading provider of MEMS sensor platforms, is hosting the 2017 TDK Sensors Developers Conference (SDC). The one day and a half event will take place on October 23-24, 2017 at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara, CA.

Under the theme “World of Sensors” the SDC will showcase the latest InvenSense motion and sound product portfolio and introduce new sensor technologies from TDK and its group companies. TDK, EPCOS, ICsense, TDK-Micronas and Tronics will highlight a variety of new sensor products and solutions. The conference will bring together market leaders from all segments of the industry including hardware and software developers, system OEMS, analysts, venture capitalists and journalists to learn about market advancements, developments, design concerns and new sensor technology offerings across motion, sound, environment, status and more.

The InvenSense Developer Community has grown to more than 40,000 developers and partners. Likewise, the SDC has grown substantially, with expected attendance of more than 400 participants from around the globe – making it one of the world’s largest MEMS and sensors developers’ conferences. The event will provide participants valuable insights into sensor solutions for wearables, gaming devices, VR/AR/HMD, automotive, smart home devices, industrial and a number of other IoT devices.

The conference agenda features multiple sessions with speakers from InvenSense, TDK, TDK-Micronas, Tronics, EPCOS, ICsense and more – including outside experts providing authoritative discussions and overviews on important aspects in the fields of hardware, software and application engineering – along with keynote addresses from Oculus/Facebook, IHS Markit, TDK and more.
