JVC, a leading broadcast company has released a consumer 3D HD camcorder, called the GS-TD1, for the first time in the world. The GS-TD1 operates by means of a processor employing dual camera lenses, and two CMOS sensors having 3.32 megapixel resolution for capturing three-dimensional images, and helps storing the pictures in a similar manner as human eyes perceive them.
It can take three-dimensional shots, and the viewers can perceive the acts in HD utilizingthe company’s'LR Independent Format'compression scheme, thus producing HD as well as three-dimensional films using this primary camcorder intended for consumer applications, remarks Prokit.
It is also equipped with a LCD monitor having a touch-panel, facilitating the viewers to see the movies back without using three-dimensional glasses. This news has been released following the demonstration of the first three-dimensional recording by the company, highlighted at the Royal Albert Hall, capturing the Prince's Trust Rock Gala episode in December, last year.
