TELRAN Sensor System for High Level Command Applications

Toumaz, a company providing power efficient wireless technology for monitoring systems in medical applications, and consumer networking applications, has released the TZ1053 TELRAN, an ULE radio.

The device is designed for use in applications such as green energy, wireless networking, smart meters, environment, wireless consumer systems etc. The mixed signal technology ensures good performance, IV operations with single button cell batteries, while consuming power less than 3mW. Its low voltage battery ensures longer life in consumer applications. Its 8051 running nano Sensor Protocol ensures its use in high level command applications both over normal interface and over the air.

It is used in communications, consumer electronics remote controls, wireless networks, environment and temperature monitors. The device features a fully integrated SoC with transceiver, base band, embedded microprocessor and control logic, is user friendly, receives and transmits data at the rate of 50kbps with more than 100m line of sight using a high gain antenna. It can connect the SPI/I2C sensors directly.
