Portable Thermocouple Welder

The TL-WELD9 can be used by development and test laboratories for multipoint temperature sensing and by manufacturers for production of thermocouple junctions.

The machine can weld thermocouple wires in sizes ranging from AWG40-AWG19 or 0.1~1.1 mm in diameter. The wires can be bonded into freestanding beads. The standard thermocouple wire can be bonded into temperature sensors in a couple of seconds. The TL-WELD9 is fast and capable of performing a minimum of 5 to 10 welds per minute.

The controls for operating the TL-WELD9 machine are located on the front panel. The machine does not use argon for producing the junctions. It weighs 5kgs and requires minimum practice for performing the welds. The thermocouple welder’s unique safety welding pen design avoids the need for pliers.
