The TMX has a dedicated 1 TByte hard drive for recording the data acquired, with a single file recording the data for months. Available in rack-mount and bench-top versions, the highly customized TMX can receive inputs from a broad source range that includes voltage, audio, video, DC bridge, thermocouple, MIL-1553, GPS, and IRIG. The TMX incorporates the newest QuickReview and LookBack technologies from Astro-Med. It facilitates a review of several gigabytes of data instantly when the long-term data acquisition process is going on. Its intelligent triggering and embedded scope capture capabilities help to save the space in the hard drive and at the same time minimize the time to archive data.

According to the Astro-Med Test & Measurement Group’s Product Manage Pete Nadeau, the TMX provides information in minutes and for many cases in real time also. He revealed that the TMX has countered one of the major hurdles in the test and measurement domain in lowering the downtime through its enhanced processing technology. According to Nadeau most engineers resorted to exporting their data on to other software for analyzing till now, which is a time consuming process. He revealed that the TMX’s enhanced derived channel technology facilitates real-time mathematics easily without any latency due to processing.

Astro-Med is a leading global vendor in the market for data acquisition and recording.
