The state-of-the-art Maytag Bravos Washers utilizes the IntelliFill sensor for regulating the water quantity used. Based on the fabric type and load the ENERGY STAR certified washers make appropriate adjustments automatically.

They offer a range of cleaning solutions ranging from workout clothes to sleeping bags through 18 options and a maximum of 11 wash cycles. Besides providing enhanced cleaning performance these washers also help consumers to save on natural resources and money. The new generation washer is likely to offer higher efficiency and better performance for top loader type of washers, which was mostly reserved for the front load washer category. The sensor lowers the risk due to shrinking and over-drying by monitoring the moisture content in clothes while they tumble during the washing process.
For larger loads a 4.3 cu.ft. I.E.C. capacity equivalent is equipped in these washers, besides automatic settings, resulting in lesser loads a week. The dryer has a capacity of 7.4 cu. ft for offering sufficient space to dry large loads like comforters and sleeping bags.
The washer has combined the three essential features, namely, thermal, mechanical, and chemical action, which are needed for the overall final cleaning performance that has been stipulated by the Whirlpool Institute of Fabric Science (WIFS). A stainless steel wash basket and a commercial-grade impeller are combined in the power wash cycle for generating more scrubbing and mechanical action for extra clean clothes. During this cycle, the impeller and the wash basket move independently. The ground-in dirt and stains in the wash load are loosened by the extra cleaning action. The enhanced strain removal feature uses hot water for tackling difficult stains like coffee. Any lingering soils or remaining detergent is flushed out by a thorough rinse.
The additives are distributed in the load by the gravity-fed bleach dispenser, automatic fabric softener and detergent dispensers, along with different soil level choices for selecting the right wash time and soil level for every cycle. Rinse and wash temperature options are provided for a range of load categories through the variable temperature settings.
According to the Maytag brand’s laundry manager, Aaron Lynch, each design element and component of the machine was evaluated for designing the state-of-the-art Bravo machines, which helped in decreasing its complexity. He revealed that the assembly line for manufacturing these machines was rebuilt from scratch completely.
