Magal to Supply Intrusion Detection Systems to Eastern European Power Facilities

Magal Security Systems proclaimed that it has entered into a US$ 4.6 million contract to provide intrusion detection systems for an Eastern European country.

During the next one and half years, the execution has been planned and the first power facilities would be installed with intrusion detection systems, while the other 10 sites would be implemented at the customer’s behest.

The turnkey solution is based on DTR, a leading taut wire product, which will be incorporated along with a control unit and a matching dual technology sensor.

Magal S3’s CEO and President, Eitan Livneh stated that this was the third order from the customer for a like application and demonstrates the company’s capabilities in meeting the expectations of its customers. He further stated that they had been successful in providing integrated Perimeter Intrusion Detection System adapted to customers’ operational and environmental requirement.
