Sensorex to Feature Novel Range of Sensors at WEFTEC 2011

Sensorex is planning to demonstrate its advanced sensor technology with the FCL400 series Free Chlorine Sensor, S8000 pH/ORP platform and the CLD400 series Chlorine Dioxide Sensors at the WEFTEC 2011.

WEFTEC 2011

The S8000 pH/ORP Platform is not only cost-effective and requires less maintenance but it also combines optional electronics, and a modular mounting hardware with a flat surface self-cleaning pH/ORP (REDOX) sensor for providing accurate measurements, even while reducing expenses for wastewater or water treatment applications. As it is completely configurable, users could buy only those components which are necessary and extend measurement capacities over time, which would help them to meet altering plant requirements. Its other features include rugged Ryton parts, Viton seals, HF resistant pH, ORP or low ionic pH, and this device could measure pH values ranging from 0-1, operating over a 0-100°C temperature range when mounted in either electronic units or in flow cells.

Sensorex’s FCL Series Chlorine Sensor includes an accurate amperometric sensor, which is capable of measuring free chlorine. This is being offered at three different measurement ranges i.e. 0-10ppm, 0-5ppm and 0-2ppm. Its design decreases maintenance cycles which would lead to lower lifecycle expenses and decrease in the frequency of replacement of sensor membrane solution or cap along with a reduction in the technician installation times. This sensor, with its 4-20 mA direct output, could with great ease support a broad range of applications, which include large plant wide network systems and small stand-alone systems.

The CLD400 Series Chlorine Dioxide Sensor from Sensorex is being offered in two ranges, 0-2 ppm and 0-10 ppm measurement ranges for amperometric chlorine dioxide measurement with an output of 4-20 mA. Chlorine dioxide is perfect for a variety of water applications such as food processing, municipal drinking water disinfection and industrial process water treatment. The existing Sensorex flow cell could easily incorporate both the CLD 400 and the FCL400 Series sensors or they could even directly replace sensors manufactured by other firms.
