FutureSentry Empowers Perimeter Detection Solution with Linear Transmitter and Receiver

FutureSentry, an automated detection solutions provider, has announced that the company has partnered with Linear, a RF-based electronics supplier. As per the terms of the agreement, FutureSentry will integrate receiver and transmitter components developed by Liner to improve the 315 MHz supervised sensor of its First Responder perimeter detection solution.

FutureSentry First_Responder solution

The FutureSentry First Responder detection solution is an automated device that can be used to prevent crimes and enhance surveillance.Offering 360-degree coverage, IR motion detection sensor along with video surveillance and alarm monitoring integration, the advanced algorithms of the FutureSentry First Responder solution identify potential threats and targets within 1000 ft. Integrated with analog or IP surveillance cameras, once motion is detected, the system highlights the activity using a high intensity LED light and continues tracking the motion until the person/object has left the perimeter.

The 315 MHz RF receiver featured in the solution provides dual receiver/antenna capabilities to enhance reception and permits programming of a maximum of 32 non-supervised transmitters and/or sensors into a single receiver.

The integration of the Linear components will enable the FutureSentry detection solution to expand its perimeter reach, improve detection and deter threat/intruders. The components will enable the detection solution to be deployed in high-risk environments including government housing, critical infrastructure, homeland security applications and wireless towers. The solution is ideal formonitoring transportation, education and commercial infrastructure.

The President of FutureSentry, RollieTrayte stated that the Linear component enhances the reliability of the FutureSentry solution and results in long-term ROI and overall savings for the customers.
