APEM Releases New Range of Tactile Switches

APEM Components has announced the availability of a cost-effective range of tactile switches developed for automotive markets.

Featuring 13 standard tactile switches available in varying heights, travel distances, right angle mounted and through-hole options, the switch series offers illuminated and standard tact switches for high cycle lifetime in miniature, low-profile switch series. The series features two 5-directional and three right-angle type switches for transportation and automotive markets.

The MT switch series provides 5-direction actuation in a small 7x7 mm footprint and offers a lifetime of 100,000 cycles. The AMPT series include washable, miniature switches of just 2.9x3.9 mm. The T3 series is available in 3.7x3.7 mm low-profile switches offering a lifetime of 500,000 cycles and are ideal for applications with space constraints.

The switch product offered by APEM Components meets the standards of ISO/TS 16949 and the ISO 14001 environmental quality management system.

APEM Components manufactures advanced industrial and miniature switches. Its range of switches include pushwheel, toggle, DIP, keylock, tact, rotary, snap-action, slide, rocker and pushbutton switches. The company also manufactures industrial controls, switch panel assemblies, joysticks and membrane switches.
