ESCORT’s products allow customers to Drive Smarter. The new SmartRadar detector and the ESCORT Live ticket protection app provide road awareness and ticket protection technology, and SmartRadar maintains ESCORT’s dominance of the “Drive Smarter” theme.

Tim Coomer, ESCORT's Vice-president of New Product Development, said that SmartRadar provides drivers out-of-sight, supercharged radar detector that comes with ESCORT Live for their smartphone. He also stated that the new ESCORT SmartRadar aids customers to drive safer by providing them with the most advanced and complete driving information as well as awareness protection available.

Other features of the SmartRadar unit include ExpertMete for simultaneously tracking and displaying almost eight radar signals; TSR software for automatically rejecting traffic flow-monitoring false alarms; SpecDisplay for providing actual numeric frequency of identified radar signal; and other settings that can be customized for particular driving needs.
