The Bluetooth technology is designed to accommodate a direct connection to the award-winning ESCORT Live™ social network ticket protection app.

ESCORT Live™ provides real time threat and information sharing among smartphone-connected drivers.

The new detectors paired with the mobile app deliver the power of the cloud directly to the vehicle providing drivers significantly expanded driving awareness with community based real-time information and alerts.

ESCORT is demonstrating both detectors and the mobile app at the CTIA Wireless Show's press events:

  • Monday Sep 8, ShowStoppers @ CTIA 2013, 6-9 pm at the Venetian
  • Tuesday Sep 9, Pepcom MobileFocus, 7-10 pm at Caesars Palace

Both new detectors also feature a dual language set for audible voice alerts in either English or Spanish.

"Our all-new PASSPORT® and new Max2™ radar detectors offer drivers powerful cloud connectivity to the ESCORT Live™ social ticket protection app," said Ron Gividen, ESCORT PR and Media Director. "Imagine an infinite amount of cloud shared alerts and information to help warn drivers … even before they leave their driveway."

The detectors use built-in Bluetooth® to automatically connect with ESCORT Live™, ESCORT's multi-award winning ticket protection network app. The ESCORT Live™ app gives users access to shared radar and laser alerts, red light and speed camera alerts, speed limit information and more.

The PASSPORT® and Max2™ detectors also feature a multi-color graphics display, USB port for Internet connectivity and a headphone port.
