US Navy Awards Mercury Defense Systems Follow-On Order for Advanced Digital RF Memory Jammers

Mercury Systems, Inc., a leading provider of affordable, commercially developed, open sensor processing systems and services for critical commercial, defense and intelligence applications, announced that its Mercury Defense Systems (MDS) subsidiary has received a $2.6 million follow-on order against its 5 year sole source basic ordering agreement (BOA) to deliver advanced Digital RF Memory (DRFM) jammers to the U.S. Navy.

The order was received in the Company's fiscal 2015 first quarter and is expected to be shipped by the end of its fiscal 2016 third quarter.

"This new award supports an Engineering Spiral Development for enhancements to the Advanced DRFM performance as well as the overall system capability," said Brian Perry, President, Mercury Defense Systems. "The continued technology advancements are designed to keep pace with the evolving threats and ensure U.S. aircrews are being properly trained prior to engagements in combat environments.
