Trendsetter to Offer Ametherm's Inrush Current Limiters and NTC thermistors in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana

Ametherm today announced that it has expanded its network of value-added representatives in the United States with the conclusion of a new agreement with Trendsetter Electronics. Effective immediately, Trendsetter is offering Ametherm's entire lineup of inrush current limiters and NTC thermistors in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

Headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, Trendsetter has been a global distributor of passive, active, interconnect, and electromechanical electronic components for oil and gas equipment, instrumentation, and military and aerospace applications since 1995. For the past 12 years, the company has been carrying and providing technical support for select Ametherm inrush current limiting thermistors. As a representative, Trendsetter will now also act as an extension of Ametherm's sales and marketing team and carry the company's complete product offering.

"Trendsetter has been a valued Ametherm distribution partner for over a decade, so it was a natural move to expand the company's role to include representative activities in support of our continuing growth," said Mehdi Samii, vice president of sales and engineering at Ametherm. "The Trendsetter staff is already very familiar with our products, and we have an excellent working relationship with the company. We are sure that our customers will find their knowledge and expertise to be invaluable assets."

"We are excited to expand our partnership with Ametherm and add the company's full line of inrush current limiters and NTC thermistors to our portfolio," said Carol Willians, president of Trendsetter Electronics. "For the markets we serve, high reliability is imperative, and that is exactly what Ametherm's circuit protection products provide for our customers. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the company in support of its rapid growth in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana."

Made in the U.S.A., Ametherm's products are recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA International) for ensured safety and are REACH-compliant, and many are RoHS-2 certified (with Exemption 7a and 7(c)-1). The devices are optimized for a wide range of applications, including AC motors, power supplies, motor drives, audio amplifiers, battery chargers, air sensors, HVAC systems, high-speed computers, MRIs, and X-ray machines.
