Sigma Reveals DP Merrill Series of Compact Cameras with X3 Image Sensor

Sigma Corporation of America, a manufacturer of advanced cameras, lenses and flashes headquartered in Kanagawa, Japan, has announced the availability of the DP1 Merrill and DP2 Merrill digital cameras. The new cameras have been named after Richard Dick Merrill, the co-creator of Foveon sensor.
