STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, has introduced its latest-generation high-efficiency cool bypass switches family for photovoltaic modules, enabling an even higher percentage of harvested energy to reach end users and further reducing the cost per Watt of renewable energy.
During the InnoTrans trade show, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft will demonstrate two new safety technologies such as a scanner capable of tracking the trains that pass at full speed, and sensors that perform preventative maintenance through early detection of damage to railroad vehicles. These two technologies will be showcased from September 18 to 21 in Berlin.
