Casio's PRO TREK Timepieces Offer Flexible Features for Outdoor Enthusiasts

The cooler temperatures and brightly colored leaves will tempt people to venture into the great outdoors this fall. While packing their gears to find a close by hiking trail and setting out to explore new terrain, Casio America, Inc. now reminds outdoor adventurers to use a PRO TREK timepiece.

Casio's PRO TREK timepieces are available with Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology, which comprises of a thermo sensor for temperature; a magnetic sensor for compass readings allowing users to find their way; and pressure sensor for barometric/altitude readings in order to guarantee that users will be able to look out for bad weather. Tough Solar Power technology prevents the requirement for battery changes. After a full-charge, the timepiece has a battery life of about seven months without further exposure to light and it is possible to charge the timepiece even in fluorescent or low light. The timepiece is also available with a special Power Save feature that enables it to power down when not exposed to light for a particular time period, thus helping to further conserve energy.

PRG650Y-1

The PRO TREK PRG650Y-1 has been developed with an analog-digital display and double LED light (neon illuminator, full auto LED backlight for the digital and full auto LED light for the analog), and puts on a luminescent look on the underside of its black silicone band with a black dial that has white accents. The PRG650Y-1 is also water resistant up to 100 m and offers five daily alarms, a stopwatch, countdown timer, world time, and more.

PRG600Y-1

The PRG600Y-1 is another timepiece that has a soft black silicone band known as Dura Soft, which gives a comfortable feeling when worn on the wrist. This timepiece that has an oversized stainless steel bezel and Earth-inspired colors appears to look good when used along with casual wear as well as on the trails. It also features three-dimensional index marks and wide hour and minute hands for optimum visibility, with large numerals at the 9, 12 and 3 o'clock positions. Other features comprise of five daily alarms, full auto double LED lights with afterglow, 29-city world time + UTC and more.
