Face Sensor to Record and Supervise for Surveillance Systems

Alan Soft has recently released its Record and Supervise product that incorporates a Face sensor. The software used in the solution has a pre-event and post-event recording feature.

The recorded image can be retrieved and played back on a security computer and a central network server situated at a distance via an online interface. The software has been developed to function as a universal application to be deployed in surveillance across platforms, that perform simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams.

The modular structure of the software enhances dependability since all the components operate as independent software programs. This ensures that the whole system will continue operating even when one component breaks down. For example if the 'record' function does not work at any time, the 'watchdog' will allow it to re-start immediately. This allows users to retrieve and replay images without interruption.

The device incorporates a web interface that features an equal presence and control on both the local computer and the central networking system. The user can view the MPEG-4 coded image and control and monitor the software through a network that allows the security server to be operated without a monitor, keyboard or mouse. The company provides the Beauty Video Record Centre Ultimate application free with the product.
