Flexpoint Receives Order for Flow Meter Sensors from Leading International Firm

Flexpoint Sensor Systems has been engaged by an international company for the design and delivery of sensors for use in flow meters.

Flexpoint Bend Sensor

Flexpoint intends to incorporate its proprietary Bend Sensor technology in the design of the sensors, which will allow the detection and estimation of product flow through the mixing devices utilized by its client in its manufacturing operations. The client is a renowned internal player with several production facilities and sales and service centers all over the world.

The bend sensor is said to be a best fit for use in the mixing device application area owing to its tolerance to withstand exposure from different types of liquids in tough environments. The sensor design includes a durable, single-layer construction and the use of materials that impart strong resistance to industrial chemicals.

Flexpoint President Clark Mower expressed his delight in receiving this production order. Mower is hopeful that after sensor production and testing, slated for completion over a period three to four months, more orders for continuous delivery of sensors at a high volume will follow through the rest of 2010. He also emphasized that the flow meter application is one of the many applications for which the Bend Sensor has been designed and it can be adapted for many new applications as well. Mower added that the newly updated Flexpoint website provides current information about the firm.
