The annual program is hosted by the leading industry trade publication honoring the best solutions that provide real-time information from connected devices across the globe.
A panel of industry experts and the M2M Evolution Magazine editorial board recognized the innovation behind Gemalto’s new SensorLogic Agent, an embedded software component coupled to M2M devices and available in C or JavaTM. By adding processing power and native monitoring capabilities to a device or the wireless module itself, integration with the SensorLogic Platform is greatly simplified and development timelines are dramatically reduced.
The device agnostic SensorLogic Platform transforms real-time data from sensors into actionable intelligence for all types of industry verticals, such as mHealth applications, fleet management solutions, remote maintenance or asset tracking systems. With the increasing need for efficient management of cellular activity, the M2M cloud-based solution can improve remote monitoring of cell towers distributed over widely dispersed geographic areas. For example, it can be used to convert disparate cell tower sensor data into standardized information that can be accessed 24-7 via a flexible web-based dashboard. This allows for real time tracking of the cell tower’s fuel usage and signal strength sending immediate alerts when repairs and maintenance are necessary.
