Coherent’s New Laser Power Sensor Enables Measurements at Points Deep Within Instruments

A new “meterless”and ultra-slim laser power sensor from Coherent Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) is configured to enable measurements at points deep within instruments and between closely spaced components. This is possible because the PowerMax USB WandUV-VIS Sensor consists of a 10 mm diameter silicon detector mounted on the end of a 6" long wand that is only 0.2" thick at its end.
