Northrop Grumman Unveils MEMS Sensor-Based Attitude and Heading Reference System

Northrop Grumman has unveiled the LCR-300 attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) at the HELI-EXPO 2012 which was held from 12 to 14 Feb 2012. The LCR-300 AHRS has been developed by Northrop Grumman LITEF, which is a navigation systems subsidiary of Northrop Grumman.

Researchers Add Timing Abilty to FRET Sensors

A microfluidic system has been developed by researchers from JILA, a collaboration of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the University of Colorado Boulder (CU). The system tracks time in biochemical reactions in the range of milliseconds to seconds. Lasers were used for the measurement of sensor signals in the microfluidic system.
