SmartWireless Site Sentinel CX Sensor Station

The SmartWireless Site Sentinel CX sensor station available from Teledyne serves as an accessory to any Detcon wireless RXT transceiver or wireless controller. The Sentinel CX can be deployed cost-effectively and easily in both temporary and permanent installations.

The Sentinel CX is capable of wirelessly transmitting the data from up to four wired gas detectors back to a wireless controller. It is provided with a battery for powering the alarm devices, radio, and integrated sensors.

The Sentinel CX sensor station is compatible with Model RXT transceivers available from Detcon. A Site Sentinel network is expandable, flexible, and can include up to 32 devices and any combination of wired and/or wireless sensors, alarm warning devices, and one or more Site Sentinel control panels.

Visual alarm, audio alarm, up to four external wired sensor inputs, and external alarm port are available as options. A power switch and power-in port come as standard features.

The control panel has been rated for Class 1, Division 2; Groups B, C, D hazardous areas. A 14–30 VDC power supply or an internal rechargeable battery power up the device. The Sentinel CX can operate for one to two months before a recharge is required.
